I know it's been forever since I have last posted. For Christmas we got a new camera and my plan was to be a better blogger. Nope that hasn't happened. I have friends that tell me and my own husband says our blog is horrible. So I was setting up a blog for Jason and his Dad for a construction blog, I decided I better update my own. No pictures but I promise a new post coming soon! This will be for you Mandie and Megan!!

I know I have been a horrible blogger the last 6 months. I have kept busy, but not that busy so it's no excuse. After trying to catch up a little bit I decided I will not go that long again, it's harder to try and catch up. So here are a few new posts to get you up to date with us!

In June we were at Lake Powell with the Ence Family. We had such a good time out there for the week. It's always a nice getaway!! Thanks to Greg and Jill for the great food and the good time we had out there! We can't wait till the next trip!

Everytime we went for a boat ride, within 10 minutes Cash would be out! He was very relaxed under the drivers wheel. When the engine would shut off or we would slow down he would wake right up! He enjoyed the Lake!

Six Months

Cash turned six months old about a week and a half ago. I can't believe how fast they grow up, it is crazy! He is full of smiles, giggles, jabbers, and two teeth. He is now sitting up alone, rolling over (sometimes). I think when we lay him down he his just content on his back he doesn't like rolling I guess. He is definently one healthy little boy we such a cute little personality. We love him so much!

We had such a great Christmas this year. I can't believe it has already come and gone. I think Cash will have a little more fun next year ripping into everything, but I don't think Mom will like that as much. It has been a great year and we look forward for this upcoming year ahead!

Our blog has definitely been quite boring lately. I just haven't been so good at doing the whole computer thing lately, but I decided I better get a little up to date, so here are a few random pictures of Cash.

Last weekend we were up in Salt Lake. One of my good friends got married in Logan. It was Cash's first time traveling so I didn't know how he was going to be. We left Wednesday night at like 9:00 and he slept the entire way to Salt Lake. He never goes to bed that early at home plus he hadn't eaten since 7 (which is when we were supposed to leave). I thought we would have to definitely stop but he did so good! We stayed at Jason's grandmas in SLC but Thursday we had to go to Logan for the wedding, and Cash did so good again! What a little traveler. He was so good the entire time, we shopped, ate, and just relaxed. It was a fun get away and the weather was great! I tried to take pictures but this is pretty much all I ended up with!!

FINALLY my car is here!

After test driving and looking into different cars, Jason and i liked the Is350 Lexus. The issue was it wasnt spacious enough inside for a baby seat. So we started looking into more of the SUVs.I just really wanted a car instead of an SUV cause i dont like driving Jasons truck at all and I knew I would hate it! Then lucky for us Jason's brother that works for Stephen Wade told us there was a new body style out on the Maxima's for the upcoming year. We decided we would test one out and see what we thought of it. It was by far our favorite car that we drove, we fell in LOVE with it! Lucky for me, I have a great husband that decided if I would let him get black then he would wash it for me so now I don't have to worry about washing a car!! It's his job now! Now he has two black vehicles to take care of. Now he can't complain when it needs to be cleaned.

I had to have a last picture with the Mazda! I loved this car!

This is what I had to lift the dang car seat up into for TWO weeks! No wonder why Men drive trucks and Women don't!

So I was so sad to see the Mazda go, but it just was not the greatest family car. It was such a pain to put the car seat in and it was a tight fit, and I couldn't fit the stroller in the trunk. So no more cute little sporty car I'm a mom now so Jason thought we better upgrade so he decided he would buy me a MINI VAN!!!! HaHa yeah right! (no offense to those van drivers) Anyways, we sold our car faster than we thought or actually the car we are getting was supposed to be here a lot earlier but they kept moving the dates. So we sold the car which leaves me carless. Well actually my husband was sweet enough to let me use the truck and he would drive the 4-wheeler to work since he was working close to our house. Well I don't know which one was worse my little Mazda or lifting the car seat clear up into the truck! Wow I was ready for my car to be here and it finally came on Friday! I was so thrilled!

We blessed Cash last Sunday! Thanks to all of you who came. The blessing went "Ok" I thought I timed the feeding just right but sure enough we got to church and he acted hungry so I thought I would have enough time to at least get half way through feeding but as soon as I put the bottle in his mouth they announced it was time for his blessing. Well if you pull the bottle from him when he is hungry he will scream! Sure enough that's what happened he was still a hungry boy! So I was a little stressed but I guess it happens. After the blessing they held him up and his little lip was just quivering, oh it was such a sad but cute face! It was a great day overall!

Baby Cash!

I know I have been such a slacker on posting pictures of the baby. I can't believe how time flies, he will be a month old tomorrow. So from my last post when I was cramping, I actually went into labor that night. Everything is going well, he was a lot bigger than people thought he would be he weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 20" long. We spent about four days in the hospital which was no fun at all, Cash was in NICU for some type of infection. It was so hard to see all the cords hooked to him. One morning I went down to his room and his IV had gone bad in his hand, the next thing I knew they had put it in his head, and of course with the emotions of having a baby I went crazy. Although he was ok it was still hard to see him there. We were so excited to get home I was so tired of being in the hospital and having him being pricked with needles everyday. But now everything is going well and we are just enjoying every minute of it! He is the best baby we could ask for. He cries when he's hungry and that's about it and he sleeps pretty good. We are just so lucky to have him! These are some pictures from a month ago! it is crazy how fast they change!

I know posts aren't as fun without pictures, but I was just sitting here on the computer and I decided I might as well do a post. We aren't doing anything tonight but sitting home. I am not feeling good at all, when is this baby coming? I am crampy, my lower back hurts, i've had a few contractions but nothing that is so painful yet. So were just sitting here waiting. I went to the doctor today I am dilated to a 3 and am about 80 85% efaced. I guess I just don't know what to expect. I thought I needed to go to the hospital earlier but I knew I wasn't in enough pain! I guess I will know when it happens, that's what everyone says. We'll just wait and see. Hopefully it's soon cause my ribs hurt so dang bad I feel like they are completely stretched out and they ache so bad!! It will all be worth it in the end!!!

Baby Shower

I can have a baby now! I've been having my weekly doctors appointments and I was so worried that I was going to have the baby before any of my showers and I just felt totally unprepared. Well yesterday I had my first shower so now I feel ok about having him. I am more prepared!! It was a great turn out and thanks to all of those who came. I got so many great gifts! My mom made me the cutest blankets and quilts, I got tons of the necessities, and some really cute clothes! Now the only thing to worry about is the whole giving birth! I don't like medical types of things and don't do well with needles! I passed out 3 times when my sister had her baby so I am a little nervous about the whole thing. I just wish we could skip that step and have the baby here!

Ok so I always find myself being on the computer and ending up looking at blogs. Jason makes fun of me cause he thinks that's all I do. Anyway I decided to create one of our own. I am totally new at this and have no idea what i'm doing, it took forever just to create this thing. We will see how well I can keep up on it. Also, I am horrible when it comes to taking pictures, even when I have my camera I forget to take them. When the baby comes I will make sure I take a ton since they grow up so fast. It is coming so soon! We are so excited!!
